Pause
When your strength feels thin, rest.
But do not quit.
Even storms pause
before they break into light.
Your emotions will rise,
loud as waves
trying to convince you
they are the whole ocean.
But they are signals,
messengers,
not masters.
They pass.
They move.
They fade.
So breathe.
Sit a moment.
Let the weight loosen.
Then stand again,
because you were never meant
to surrender,
only to recover.
