Truth
When falsehoods weave a silken thread,
And gather hearts with words unsaid,
A fragile bond begins to form,
But truth will break that brittle norm.
For lies may mask, but never mend,
They falter where the truths ascend.
What is built on sand will surely fall,
No house can stand with crumbling walls.
The mirror waits, it does not bend,
It shows what is real, it won’t pretend.
So walk the path that is steep and true,
Integrity will carry you.
Be not the echo of deceit,
Let honesty guide every feat.
For though it wounds, the truth will heal,
And time reveals what is fake or real.
Stay true, though lonely roads you tread,
Though silence falls where false words bled.
The soul that stands through fire and test
Will, in the end, be richly blessed.

P.S. Truth may sting, but it never leaves you dry.
It heals, slowly but surely, just like the right kind of care does.
