Truths I Did Not Seek
I never turned, I never fled,
Never ghosted, never misled.
I stayed when storms began to rise,
Loyal beneath the shifting skies.
But some pushed me with silent weight,
Shut the door and sealed the gate.
Some left my calls to ring and fade,
While I stood firm, alone, betrayed.
They taught me truths I didn’t seek—
That silence often speaks the bleak.
That loyalty’s a fragile thread,
And some just cut it off instead.
But I won’t change, I won’t retreat,
No mask, no game, no fake deceit.
I gave my best, I stayed sincere—
You lost me, but I stayed clear.
