Stand Outside The Norm
They told you "stop", they told you "wait",
That dreams like yours will seal your fate.
They laughed and scoffed, with eyes so sure—
But visions born of fire endure.
They said the climb's too steep, too high,
That wings like yours won’t reach the sky.
But still, you rose through winds that tore,
Because some visions are worth fighting for.
Not every soul will see your light,
Or walk beside you through the night.
And even shadows, bold and long,
Can’t silence what you know is strong.
You’ve stumbled, bruised, but didn’t yield,
You held your ground, your inner field.
Though silence met each answered call,
You stood alone—and stood up tall.
The world may point, may turn its back,
But purpose never walks the track
Of comfort, ease, or loud applause—
It walks through doubt for truer cause.
So let them talk, and let them leave,
You’ve got a deeper truth to weave.
And though you stand outside the norm—
Some visions are the coming storm.
And when you reach that distant shore,
Where no one's voice can crush your core,
You'll know the fight, the pain, the war—
Were all for that worth fighting for.
