A Cornerstone Beneath the Light
Through wind that stings and roads that bend,
Where doubt and silence often blend,
A soul keeps walking, slow but strong—
Perseverance hums a patient song.
No banner raised, no crowds to cheer,
Just whispered hope against the fear.
With blistered feet and aching grace,
It builds a quiet, sacred place.
Each faltered step, each sleepless night,
A cornerstone beneath the light.
The tears once shed along the way
Now water roots that choose to stay.
No path is straight, no triumph swift,
But time bestows a gentler gift:
A place where weary hearts may rest,
Where scars are worn like honored vests.
It isn’t carved from grand applause—
But from the stillness, from the cause
Of rising one more time, and then
Believing you belong again.
For in the fire, and through the storm,
A home is shaped—a self reborn.
Not found by chance, but slowly grown—
Perseverance makes it known.
