Blessed Heart

Wisdom’s crown, a lofty prize,
For some, a goal where ambition lies.
But grace descends on hearts sincere,
No need for brilliance, doubt or fear.

For in the depths where kindness gleams,
A soul unburdened, softly dreams.
Intelligence, a fleeting art,
But goodness echoes in the heart.

God’s love embraces, pure and free,
On minds profound, or simple glee.
No IQ can measure worth untold,
In spirits gentle, brave and bold.

So let us cherish, humble grace,
A tender touch, a warm embrace.
For blessings fall like gentle rain,
On fields of heart, and soothe all pain.
