Silence

In the crucible of thought, a battle wages on,
A tangled web of knots, a puzzle yet unknown.
Silence, a shield I raise, to ward off fleeting sound,
For in this mental maze, a solution must be found.

Words, like intrusive flies, can break the train of thought,
Distractions cast a guise, where clarity is sought.
The gears of reason grind, a symphony of might,
Untangling what entwined, to bring forth reason's light.

So wait, for when I rise, with answer etched in brow,
The triumph in my eyes, the "how" and "why" I'll show.
Then converse we shall hold, dissect the problem's core,
But till the story's told, let silence hold the door.
