Ambogo

In the heart of Kenya, where tales unfold,

Lies a lady named Ambogo, wise and bold.

In her world, where fortunes sway,

She stumbled upon news one fateful day.

Of men and their wagers, on soccer they bet,

"Wolves vs Brentford," a match to get set.

Ambogo paused, her thoughts took flight,

Recalling her father's words, shining bright.

"Never rely on luck," he used to say,

"Hard work and diligence pave the way."

In her mind, his wisdom rang clear,

As she pondered on luck and its veneer.

For in a land where chance may reign,

Her father's lessons would always remain.

Not in the toss of a coin or a roll of dice,

But in sweat and toil, she found her advice.

So amidst the fervor of bets and scores,

Ambogo stood firm on life's shores.

For luck may come and luck may go,

But a steadfast heart will always know.

With her father's words as her guiding light,

She forged ahead, in the day and night.

For in the game of life, she'd come to find,

That true victory is of a different kind.

So as the match played out, in twists and turns,

Ambogo smiled, for she had learned,

That while others may gamble on fate's decree,

She'd place her trust in her own destiny.
