Freedom Isn't Free!

The human who asks to be delivered is never without sight.

A portion of who you are is your past. There is no saint without a past [St Augustine].

When the devil drags you to dwell in your past, simply remind him:

“You don't have anything that I desire!”

Nothing you can do will change your past. Although you can't change it, it need not serve as your compass or anchor.

🐏 Gideon

The Book of Judges contains the account of Gideon, starting in chapter six and ending with his demise in chapter eight.

It's evident that God's perspective is different from our own perspective. Where Gideon saw himself to be very weak, Christ saw him as a mighty man of valor.

Our past tends to interfere with what Christ is doing with us in the present. Interference is a part of life.

The interference doesn't stop Christ from using us to accomplish His purposes.

👀 Judges 7:2-8, AMP

When you zoom into verse six, you'll notice three things:

🤲 Hands
💦 Water
#️⃣ 300

Nothing in the Holy Bible is written only to take up space or to meet a specific word count. If you are willing to keep looking, there is always so much to learn.

💡 Hands

It's a depiction of deliverance [read Genesis 19:16, AMP].

💡 Water

It's an image of the word of God [read Ephesians 5:25-27, AMP].

👉 Deliverance Begins From Within

If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside cannot harm us [African Proverb].

Since at the heart of every problem is a problem of your heart, God's Word transforms our hearts first.

When the inside is okay, we can conquer whatever is on the outside.

💡 300

It represents the number three [read Judges 7:16, AMP].

Three is a picture of resurrection. Christ was raised from the dead on the third day [read 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, AMP].

The resurrection of Christ proves that you are perfectly forgiven [read Colossians 2:8-15, AMP].

You cannot be set free if you have trouble believing that you are perfectly forgiven.

👉 People Struggling To Receive

Sinners don't just stop at asking for forgiveness. You need to learn the art of receiving perfect forgiveness from God.

I know your conscience is crying for payment. That's why there's guilt, suicidal thoughts, and self-condemning tendencies.

Every time you feel guilty, point your conscience to the resurrection of Christ.

The key is to pivot on the resurrection of Christ as soon as your thoughts become suicidal.

The resurrection of Christ is the evidence you need to show your conscience. Your sins are perfectly forgiven.
